Temple of hackney

A new “chicken” shop has opened on Morning Lane, but there’s one twist – it’s all vegan. Temple of Hackney uses seitan, which is a meat free substance made from wheat gluten, to replicate fried chicken. Since opening, it’s proved to be extremely popular with long queues each day and customers seem impressed with the offerings. We recommend getting there early as they have sold out of food on many occasions. Temple of Hackney, 10 Morning Lane, London, E9 6NA
